There are 32 top-line centers in the NHL, and the Detroit Red Wings’ Dylan Larkin ranks about in the middle of the pack.
That’s according to the NHL Network, with rated Larkin No. 15 on its list of the top 20 centers right now.
NHL Network’s Jamison Coyle, Brian Boyle and Mike Rupp counted down the best centers based on player performance over the past several seasons, with an emphasis on the 2024-2025 regular season and 2025 playoffs, while also considering future upside.
Larkin, 29, tallied 30 goals for the fourth year in a row and fifth time overall this past season and finished with 70 points, reaching that plateau for the third time in his 10-year career.
