Orchard Park, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills starting cornerback Tre’Davious White was injured during 11-on-11 in Thursday’s practice with what appeared to be a lower-body injury.
White needed two teammates to help him hobble off the field before trainers swarmed to assess the injury. The Bills practiced in the stadium, and White was able to walk into the tunnel before disappearing for a few moments. He walked back to the edge of the tunnel before athletic trainers picked him up in a cart to take him back to the locker room.
White has been working as the team’s No. 2 cornerback since he re-signed with the Bills in April. Rookie first-round pick Maxwell Hairston was playing primarily on the second team even before he sustained a knee injury during training camp.
