USA TODAY announced the winning list of its 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards for the best boutique hotels, which includes a Coachella Valley business in one of the top 10 spots.

A panel of industry experts from USA TODAY 10BEST nominated their favorite boutique hotels of 2025, 10BEST editors narrowed the list, and then readers had the chance to vote for their pick.

From a mansion in South Carolina to a former Coca-Cola bottling plant in Indianapolis, the list for best boutique hotel includes a wide variety of places to stay in destinations nationwide. Villa Royale, a storied Palm Springs adult-only property, made the list as the nation's fifth best boutique hotel. Villa Royale also won a spot on the list for the best hotel pool , ranking seventh in the nation.
