We’re keeping a close eye on Hurricane Erin as the storm continues moving north and parallel to the East Coast. Even though the storm will not make landfall in New England and it has weakened slightly, Erin’s impacts on New England will remain the same.

This is a very large storm with far-reaching effects, including gusty winds, high waves, and dangerous rip currents up and down our coast.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect for the Cape and the Islands through Friday afternoon. Winds could gust up to 45-50 mph. Gusty winds will also be felt farther inland, including for much of Greater Boston tonight through Friday morning.
