PARMA, Ohio -- City Council is expected to approve the Parma Service Department’s budgeted purchase of five new Chevrolet Colorado Crew Cab pickup trucks.
Each vehicle is $36,713 ($183,565 total) and will be paid for out of the city’s capital improvements fund.
“Those are for our supervisors,” Parma Service Director Tony Vannello said. “The new vehicles are replacing all-wheel-drive Terrains, which are actually going to be repurposed to our senior center for delivery of senior meals.
“The all-wheel drive vehicle will give them a vehicle to drive safely in the wintertime, while our supervisors get new vehicles as well. So it’s a good fit for both departments.”
