San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Demarcus Robinson will be suspended for the first three games of the 2025 NFL season, head coach Kyle Shanahan said Wednesday.
“D-Rob, we’re not going to have through the first three weeks,” Shanahan told KNBR radio in San Francisco while discussing the 49ers’ wide receiving corps entering the season.
“Is that a confirmed suspension? It will be three weeks to start the year?” host Adam Copeland asked .
“Yes. You can always appeal it, so we’ll hope for the best on that, but that’s what we are planning for,” Shanahan responded.
Robinson, who joined the 49ers on a two-year, $9.5 million contract in March, is suspended for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
