A 16-year-old Calgary teen has succumbed to her injuries after being involved in a fatal watercraft collision that took place in Ontario along Lake St. Clair, in the southwest part of the province.

On Aug. 14, Lakeshore Ontario Provincial Police, Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Services, and Lakeshore Fire Rescue responded to a marine collision involving a single personal watercraft on Lake St. Clair near Couture Beach, in the municipality of Lakeshore.

First responders with assistance from locals rescued four individuals from the lake.
