HIGHLAND TWP. — A Harrison man was arrested after allegedly threatening a coworker with a firearm in Osceola County earlier this month, according to the Michigan State Police Cadillac Post.

Per an Aug. 21 news release, troopers said the incident began Aug. 7 when the suspect, identified as 45-year-old Angelo Cuellar, and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation at their workplace in Leroy. The following day, while the victim was driving on 20 Mile Road near M-115 Highway, a pickup truck approached at a high rate of speed.

Investigators said that as the victim stopped at a stop sign, Cuellar allegedly pulled alongside, brandished a firearm, and threatened to shoot. The victim drove away without incident but reported that Cuellar also issued further threats by cell phone.
