SAYRE, Pa. (WETM) — A former resident of the Valley who now resides in the Midwest was arrested on Thursday after police said he made threats toward a School in Sayre that led to the evacuation of the building.

Ronald Anthony Fiorello, 62, of Salida, Colorado, was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 21, on the following charges: • Weapons of mass destruction - bomb threats, a felony in the third degree. • Terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, a felony in the third degree. • Terroristic threats cause evacuation of a building, a felony in the third degree.

Fiorello's arrest comes after the evacuation and closure of the Epiphany Catholic School in Sayre on Wednesday, Aug. 20. According to information from the Sayre Police Department, Fiorello sent three emails on Wednesday morn
