As the 49ers deal with a plethora of injuries in their wide receivers room , they also likely will be without new addition Demarcus Robinson to start the 2025 NFL season.

San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed Wednesday on KNBR that Robinson will be suspended for the 49ers' first three regular-season games after violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, telling the radio station that the team will be without the veteran wideout for the first three weeks.

"Yes," Shanahan told host Adam Copeland when asked if the suspension is confirmed. "You can always appeal it, so we'll hope for the best on that, but [three weeks] is what we're planning for."
