PITTSFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A Pittsfield man will be spending 46 years behind bars for sexually exploiting children in his home.

39-year-old Justin Benoit also owned hundreds of child pornography files and sexual abuse items.

Benoit has been in police custody since 2022, and pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual exploitation of children in May this year.

In addition to his sentence, Benoit will be on supervised release for a decade and will have to register as a sex offender.
