ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Asheville Police Department reports arresting two men, including a wanted fugitive, and seizing drugs and guns on Wednesday.
Police report, in partnership with the U.S. Marshal’s Service, locating 39-year-old Terry Lee Wolfe near the 200 block of Short Michigan Avenue around 3:13 p.m. Wolfe was wanted for assault by strangulation, larceny of a motor vehicle, injury to personal property, trafficking opium, possession of methamphetamine, first-degree trespass, and traffic offenses.
Officers said Wolfe was arrested at a residence belonging to 55-year-old Irvin Franklin Freeman, where the following was seized:
572 grams of methamphetamine (1.26 lbs)
66.03 grams of fentanyl
14.34 grams of cocaine
1 sawed-off shotgun
1 shotgun
1 handgun
