COLLEGE PARK, Md. (DC News Now) -- Police said a man from Anne Arundel County was arrested after he crashed into a Maryland State Police (MSP) car, injuring a trooper in Prince George's County on Thursday.

MSP said that around 12:47 a.m., a trooper was conducting a traffic stop on the Capital Beltway when Damien Haman, 42, struck another trooper's car.

While the trooper was conducting the traffic stop on a blue Lincoln, a second trooper arrived and parked his car behind the first trooper's car. Both patrol cars had the emergency lights on.
