PLAINFIELD, N.J. (PIX11) — A substitute teacher at a New Jersey academy has been accused of multiple crimes against minors, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.

Tory James, 23, has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and promoting obscene material to a child under 18 years of age.

James, of Plainfield, is a substitute teacher at Queen City Academy Charter School and a mentor at the Queen City Mentoring Academy, a day camp for young men and women in Plainfield, according to Ciccone. He was arrested on Wednesday without incident.

Ciccone said the investigation is ongoing.
