A mid-state city manager is facing charges of aggravated burglary, theft and stalking after a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation probe.
A grand jury returned an indictment Aug. 20 against Lewisburg City Manager Roy Haislip, 61, who was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a $10,000 bond. He was later released on bail.
The TBI said in an Aug. 20 release that District Attorney General Rob Carter requested the agency investigate allegations of theft involving Haislip.
During the probe, investigators found Haislip repeatedly contacted a city employee after being asked to stop, the release said.
TBI also noted in the release that Haislip broke into the employee's home and took personal items.
