GREEN BAY, Wis .—Seahawks linebacker Tyrice Knight did not participate in Thursday's joint practice with the Packers, but while he was sidelined for the practice, the day also brought positive news for the second-year linebacker.
"We got some great news today," Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said. "That's what I was referring to earlier in the week. Now we're activating the plan. We'll see how long it takes, but a really positive day on T-Knight front this morning."
Knight, who took over a starting job alongside Ernest Jones IV midway through last season, was sidelined by a knee injury earlier in camp, then Macdonald later revealed that Knight was dealing with a separate medical issue that was keeping him out.
"It's a health matter," Macdonald said, noting Thursday's update, "basically
