The Radiological Society of North America will recognize five radiology leaders from U.S. health systems during the organization’s annual meeting from Nov. 30 to Dec. 4. Three leaders will receive the 2025 RSNA Gold Medal, the organization’s highest honor. It is given by the RSNA board to leaders who “rendered unusual service to the science of radiology,” according to the organization’s website. 

The recipients of the 2025 RSNA Gold Medals are:

Mary Mahoney, MD, professor of radiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and chief of imaging services at UC Health.

Thomas Grist, MD, professor of cardiovascular imaging and former chair of the department of radiology at Madison-based University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
