Students at Villanova University were told to lock and barricade doors as an active shooter was reported on campus.
At about 4:30 p.m. received an alert that read: “ACTIVE SHOOTER on VU campus. Move to secure location. Lock/barricade doors. More info to follow.”
Police later started centering their efforts around Scarpa Hall.
The Radnor Police Department has confirmed that there is an active shooter situation at Villanova University.
But, police were unable to immediately provide more information.
As seen on Thursday afternoon, police vehicles could be seen gathering on Villanova's campus.
