VILLANOVA, Pa. (NEXSTAR) - Police responded Thursday to a report of an active shooter on the Villanova University campus.
Radnor police said the incident was still "active" in a 5:47 p.m. ET update, adding: "At this time, there are NO reported victims." The department urged those sheltering in place to continue to do so until a police officer arrived to escort them.
In an earlier post on X, Radnor Township Police told nearby residents and students to shelter in place. In an alert on the campus website, the university said to "Stay Clear of Law School Scarpa Hall" and to lock/barricade doors.
