CORAOPOLIS, Pa. —
A man was struck by a truck and killed Thursday afternoon in Coraopolis, Allegheny County, police said.

Coraopolis police Chief Jason Stewart said the incident happened around 3:25 p.m.
A tractor-trailer was stopped at the red light on Fifth Avenue, Stewart said. He said when the light turned green, the driver began driving and did not see the man in front of the truck.
The crash is being investigated by the South Hills Area Council of Governments accident reconstruction team. Stewart said the driver was being cooperative.
