District Court Judge Michael J. Whyte sentenced a 45-year-old Ammon man to jail and probation on Thursday in the Bonneville County Courthouse for felony injuring a child.

Johnny Allen Whitaker originally pled not guilty to a charge of felony lewd conduct with a child under 16 years old.
