The Lathrop volleyball program enters the 2025 season with perhaps its most experienced squad in years.
After winning the Mid Alaska Conference (MAC) title last fall but bowing out in the opening round of last year’s state tournament, the Malemutes return 10 seniors who believe they can push deeper in November.
“The goal should be to get to the state tournament and actually win some matches and try to win the whole thing,” head coach David Halbrooks said. “You never wanted to say you want to set your goals high and you want to be realistic when we’re doing it. That’s where we at, we just want to get there and be able to compete.”
