FERNLEY, Nev. (KOLO) - The Nevada Veterans Coalition will hold its 24th annual 9/11 remembrance at Fernley’s Out of Town Park on Thursday, Sept. 11, beginning at 9 a.m.
“The Nevada Veterans Coalition honors the sacrifices and services of the men and women in uniform past, present, and future,” the news release said. “We honor the over 400 law enforcement and firefighters who died in the line of duty that fateful day.”
They will pay homage to the brave civilians who fought back against the terrorists, and honor those innocents who were lost, the release said.
