Country singer Carly Pearce was added to the 2025 Bristol Rhythm & Roots lineup on Tuesday, replacing Lukas Nelson who canceled his appearance.

Pearce, a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, is scheduled to headline the State Street stage on Sept. 20, according to a written statement.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Carly Pearce to this year’s lineup,” said BCM Executive Director Melissa Roberts. “She’s an artist who bridges generations through her music, and her Kentucky roots make her a natural fit for our festival.”

Nelson, the son of music legend Willie Nelson, recently announced he would perform at an event with his father instead of at the Twin City music festival.
