PARMA — U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo was joined by agriculture industry leaders at Obendorf Farms on Wednesday to highlight the benefits the federal spending bill will be bringing to farmers and ranchers across the country and in the state of Idaho.

Several far-reaching provisions of the bill were highlighted by Crapo, including increases to the standard deduction and the child tax credit. The focus of the personnel gathered within an Obendorf onion packing facility, however, ultimately centered around the lesser-known provisions in the legislation targeting those working in the agriculture industry.
