One of the stars of Netflix ’s new action-packed, political thriller Hostage has shared some behind-the-scenes insight into the drama, after lead star Suranne Jones made a surprising admission .

In an exclusive interview with Reach Screen Time, Gangs of London and Game of Thrones star Lucian Msamati revealed all about the twisty series and working with Gentleman Jack star Jones.

Msamati, 49, said: “I think there was great spark. Suranne and I just got on like a house on fire and we sort of became work husband and wife, which is really at the centre of both of their jobs.

“They’re both hard-headed, they’re both very good at what they do and they both care.”
