HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Thursday evening! After another hot and humid day today, many will not face the summer heat tomorrow as the much anticipated big cool-down begins to unfold on Friday.

This evening will be muggy, warm and quiet. Temperatures hanging on the 70s for most up through midnight. A cold front will move into Northwest Nebraska tonight, bringing a chance of late night showers and isolated thunderstorms to Northwest and North Central Nebraska. Low temperatures tomorrow morning will bottom out in the 60s across the area.

On Friday, the cold front will push southeast through the area. Because of the slower timing of the front, only parts of the area will be cooler. Some will still be fairly hot. Highs look to range from the upper 70s and lower 80s in the northwest to the
