Two infants tragically lost their lives within hours at the same hospital due to "lethal" contaminated washing up liquid, sparking warnings about the "increasingly multi-antibiotic resistant" threat.
An inquiry is currently in progress at San Maurizo Hospital in Italy following these heartbreaking fatalities. The premature babies contracted Serratia marcescens - a deadly bacterium that spreads easily in hospital environments.
