We’re less than two months away from the premiere of Grey’s Anatomy season 22 and we’re looking ahead at the changes coming for the cast.

There was an explosion at the end of the season 21 finale and only two characters are confirmed to return in the upcoming season, but we recently learned that several stars already have deals in place for the next season.

Showrunner Meg Marinis revealed in a post-finale interview that she can only confirm two characters will be back, but we did get some additional insight from the interview.

ABC recently changed the premiere date for Grey’s season 22 and it’s coming sooner than previously expected.
