MADISON (WKOW) -- Nyzier Fourqurean, the Wisconsin cornerback who's suing the NCAA in an effort to gain an extra year of eligibility, could miss the Badgers' first seven games this season.
The player argues his year playing Division II football at Grand Valley State shouldn't count toward his Division I eligibility. The trial in his federal case is set to start on October 20. If he were to win, Fourqurean would be able to play as early as Wisconsin's October 25 game against Oregon. However, he would have already missed out on action in marquee matchups against Alabama, Michigan and Ohio State.
