Ethan Bherwani was an incredible pianist. He graduated valedictorian of his high school and was getting ready to go to law school. His story came to an abrupt end in 2021, when he was just 22 years old.

“He decided to go with his friends to the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut,” his father, Kamal Bherwani, said. “And there, you know, he was preyed upon by a dealer who sold him something laced with fentanyl, that’s not what he asked for — and he was poisoned.”
