The City Council approved two major rezoning proposals last Thursday — one in Midtown South and the other for Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side.

These projects were made possible by the “City of Yes” housing amendments passed late last year.

City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams joined “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss those proposals, overrding recent vetoes by Mayor Eric Adams and the indictment of his former chief adviser.

“New Yorkers need to be able to trust their leaders, trust their elected officials, trust the people that they put in power to represent them and to represent our city, and it’s just very sad,” Adrienne Adams said.
