KINGMAN — The Mohave County Board of Supervisors authorized creation of a destination marketing organization designed to help attract visitors and events to the unincorporated areas of the county.
"This is a chance for our county ... to not only apply for tourism grants but also for the state to start marketing our community and our county," said Tami Ursenbach, the county's economic development director. "It won't be just for us to go out and bring people in for tourism but also (the state) will be marketing our county as well, not just the cities." ×
