BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- UAB is welcoming 3,400 students to campus during the school's move-in days, which began Wednesday and continue through Sunday.
This isn’t Lincoln Moody’s first rodeo when it comes to moving his son from Jasper into a dorm room at UAB, and while his son is a senior, it may not be his last.
“We’ll see if he goes to graduate school or not,” Moody said.
Keiona Gregory is also moving into Rast Hall as a sophomore this year. She said that, for her, the move-in process has been easy.
“There’s not many people today, I guess because it’s a Thursday,” she said.
UAB sophomore Jack Fulton, from Atlanta, said that dorm life has its pluses and minuses.
