AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Richmond County Coroner’s Office responded to Wellstar MCG Thursday afternoon in reference to a shooting death.

Antoine Stokes, 23, from Martinez, was shot at least once on Wednesday at 103 Talbot Drive, a Waffle House.

Stokes was transported by EMS to Wellstar MCG, where he was pronounced dead on Thursday at 3:59 p.m.

An autopsy has been scheduled, and no further information is available at this time.

This is n ot the first deadly shooting at a Waffle House in Augusta .
