MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Shelby County Schools recognized three of their high schools after they were ranked in the top 25 high schools in Tennessee by U.S. News and World Report.
According to the ranking, East High School was ranked 11th, Middle College High School ranked 20th, and White Station High School ranked 25th.
According to U.S. News and World Report, East High School has an AP participation rate of 82%, and had 50% of students pass at least one AP exam. They received a 96.52 on the scorecard.
They said Middle College High School earned the second-highest ranking in the Memphis metro area and scored a 93.69 on the scorecard. They have an AP participation rate of 87%.
