TREMONTON — Emotions were still running high for many on Wednesday as the community paid tribute to two officers who died in the line of duty.

Tremonton-Garland Police Sgt. Lee Sorensen and Officer Eric Estrada were both shot and killed late Sunday as they responded to multiple 911 calls in a neighborhood.

The Golden Spike Rodeo also featured a moment of silence.

At the parade, Mary Privett said Sorensen had helped her family many times over the years.
