MEXICO CITY (Reuters) -Mexican officials informed several U.S. airlines in an August 18 call that slots that had been cut at Mexico City's main airport will be returned to them, United Airlines said in a filing made public on Thursday.

Mexico's transportation ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
