South Mountain Creamery will close its ice cream shop along Carroll Creek in downtown Frederick on Sunday, after eight years.

The Middletown-area creamery announced Thursday that it had chosen not to renew the lease on its South Mountain Creamery Ice Cream Shop & Pizza store on Citizens Way along Carroll Creek.
