MANLIUS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- The Fayetteville-Manlius School District is working with police to identify a suspicious individual after an incident occurred on school grounds Thursday, August 21.

Around noon, a suspicious person was seen outside of Eagle Hill Middle School by school personnel. They allegedly photographed the school's main, single-point of entry and make remarks about a shooting.

School personnel immediately contacted the Town of Manlius Police Department, to which they responded and opened an investigation.

District administrators are currently working with police to identify the person, who was presumed to be a white male, wearing an orange jacket with a hood, riding an electric bike.
