HOOVER, Ala. —

Several municipal races will be decided on Tuesday. Hoover residents will choose their next mayor.

It's a choice between the two-term incumbent and the two-decade police chief.

No matter how voters cast ballots, a familiar face will be leading the city for the next four years. Incumbent Mayor Frank Brocato is going for a third, and what he says would be his final term. He's challenged by long-time Hoover police Chief Nick Derzis.

Brocato said he still has some unfinished business, like bringing a performing arts center to town.
