Four lanes of traffic are closed on the Atlantic City Expressway after a car crashed into a toll plaza in South Jersey on Thursday night, according to officials.

The South Jersey Transportation Authority said that the car caught on fire as a result of the crash on the westbound side of the highway on Aug. 21.

The crash happened at the Egg Harbor Toll Plaza in Hamilton Township, officials said.
