Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze appeared to be moving closer to a transfer to Arsenal worth a reported £60 million ($81 million) after the England international was left out of the Eagles' team for their European tie on Thursday.

Palace boss Oliver Glasner said he did not expect Eze to play for them again after their 1-0 first leg Conference League play-off win at home to Fredrikstad.

"Today he called me that he doesn't feel well and can't play in the evening and that's why he didn't play, Glasner said.

When asked if he believed Eze would play for Palace again Glasner replied with a simple "No".
