BROOKINGS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Brookings High School hosted O’Gorman for some afternoon soccer action on Thursday.

The boys played first at the Fishback Soccer Complex.

Caden Olson got the scoring started in Brookings when he snuck one by in the first half, 1-0 O’Gorman led.

It wasn’t until the second half that we would see another score.

Kyler Soost put a shot on net that would typically be saved, a mishandle in net led to a tie ball game just five minutes into the second half.

For 30 minutes these teams battled back and forth each with their own opportunity to take the advantage.

With less than five minutes to play Garrison Schoenwald sealed the deal for the Knights.

They held that 2-1 lead throughout the rest of the half and earned the win an hour from home.
