BATES CO., Mo. (KCTV) - An accused methamphetamine dealer was arrested after he threw an Oatmeal Cream Pie Cookie at a Missouri sheriff, leading investigators to find his stash.
Bates County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Wednesday, Aug. 20, indicate that William P. Phelps, 43, of Montrose, has been charged with trafficking drugs.
A probable cause statement filed by the Bates County Sheriff’s Office revealed that on Wednesday, law enforcement officials spotted a brown 2002 Chevrolet Impala headed west on State Route 52 with no back license plate.
