ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Thursday marked day two of a retrial for a former state trooper accused of killing two teenagers in a crash 10 years ago.
Buchanan Mayor A.J. Scott faces two counts of second-degree vehicular homicide and reckless driving. Opening statements unfolded on Wednesday, and testimony continued on Thursday.

Prosecutors argued that in September 2015, Scott was driving more than 90 mph in a 45 mph zone without his lights or sirens activated. He broadsided a vehicle carrying four passengers, resulting in the death of 17-year-old Kylie Lindsey and 16-year-old Isabella Chinchilla.
