HARTFORD, Conn. — A roofing contractor from Connecticut pleaded guilty to tax evasion in Hartford federal court Wednesday after orchestrating a lucrative criminal scheme.

Anthony Delmaro, 48, of Woodbridge , waived his right to be indicted before making the plea, according to a report from the Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

Court documents and statements note that Delmaro has owned an operated a commercial roofing business in Connecticut since at least 2012. The business has most frequently been known as “Kings Roofing.”
