HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — A driver lost control of their vehicle, struck the Egg Harbor Toll Plaza and caught fire on the Atlantic City Expressway on Thursday night.

According to 6abc.com , the crash occurred around 8 p.m. at the plaza near milepost 17.5 and just east of the Farley Service Plaza. Video from the news station's helicopter showed emergency crews surrounding a burn vehicle and toll booth.

A request for details from State Police was made Thursday night. There was no word on any injuries in the crash.

Westbound travelers were diverted to the express lanes as crews worked to clear the scene.
