TOLEDO, Ohio — Bowling Green State University is welcoming its largest freshman class in school history as students move back on campus this week.

More than 4,000 first-year students are starting classes this fall, which freshman Chloe Bernstein says she's embracing.

"It's a lot of people, but it's fun. I'm down for it," she said.

To make space, officials reopened Kohl Hall, ensuring enough housing for every student. But parking has emerged as a bigger challenge, according to some students.

"It's very hard. I know there's parking by the train tracks, but usually, lot 12 is full and there's like nowhere to park at all," said sophomore Ashley Davis.

Freshmen said they were easily allowed to purchase parking passes and bring their cars on campus.
