LEWIS CENTER, Ohio — With Ohio’s 2026 primary season already beginning to stir, Democrats gathered Thursday night in Lewis Center for a major fundraiser supporting the Delaware County Democratic Party.
The event comes amid growing anticipation over several high-profile races and a primary field that is beginning to take shape on both sides of the aisle.
Dr. Amy Acton, currently the only declared Democratic candidate for governor, could soon face a challenger.
A spokesperson for former U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, who lost a 2022 U.S. Senate race to now–Vice President JD Vance, said this week he will decide by the end of next month whether to enter the race.
